Here are the answers to some of the questions you’ve been asking us recently

Q: Do I need a dance partner?
A: No, we rotate partners however we often have more men in our classes so ladies please come!

Q: What level should I go for?
A: The first level is for anyone who would like to improve their dancing skills or concentrate on simple routines irrespective of how many classes they have done.

The second level is for those who are confident in all aspects of the dance and would like to work on a more challenging routine or dance steps.

We will always try to accommodate individuals but we also need you to choose wisely and fairly so that everyone can learn and progress at a suitable level.

Complete beginners are always welcome.

Q: Where else can I go to practise?
A: There are dozens of classes and clubs throughout London so it’s impossible to recommend any one in particular. Salsa Jive provides a comprehensive listing.

Q: Where do Bachata & Kizomba originate from?
A: The Dominican Republic & Angola

Q: Where can I get the music?
A: We have CDs available, please ask
